Manjula is planning a trip to Hawaii for a yoga retreat, but it is much more than that. It is celebratory, a way of celebrating “coming through” the challenges of the past two years with hip replacements, pain and associated challenges. More details about the trip and retreat are below.

If your heart is so inclined, send a donation of any amount to help with trip/retreat expenses and to be a part of this celebration! I will cash your check and consolidate funds, delivering these gifts (Dana-the practice of generosity or giving) of support and love to her the first week of June along with a card with contributors’ signatures. Personally I see this as a way to give-back to Manjula for many years of self-less service to the broader yoga community and my own practice.  - Mike Healy

More details about this celebratory trip!

“I will be going on this trip the second week in June. I have been looking for a way to celebrate making my way through the past two years which were filled with physical pain and challenges and coming through it and finding my way back into the life that I enjoy so much.

This trip came up and is a Yoga retreat for 7 days led by three of my favorite guys in the IY organization. Swami Ramananda, Rev. Jivana Heyman, and Snehan Borne. We will be “camping” on the beach in Yurts and practicing together in one of the most beautiful places I know, Kauai Hawaii. I will fly to San Francisco and then travel with Ramananda to help set up for the group.

This is my way to let go of this past phase and move forward in to my brightest possible future filled with Yoga and service. I have moved forward with this trip on faith simply because it seems so perfect for what I need right now.” – Manjula
